about us
Single Pringle is a small student-run project from Ngee Ann Poly. We think dating shouldn't feel like a job interview or an endless scroll — so we built something cozier instead.
purpose
Single Pringle exists to make dating feel less scary, less surface-level, and a little more human. Instead of endless swiping or awkward one-on-one first dates, we create cozy group meetups where poly students can meet people who share similar interests, values and life goals.
Our purpose is to help students leave with more than just a match — maybe a spark, maybe a new friend, or maybe just a really good conversation.
mission
Our mission is to bring poly students together through curated dating meetups in cozy school spaces. Everyone fills the same compatibility form — personality, partner preferences, values, interests and future goals — and we match people from there.
For our pilot, we're keeping things simple: we handle the matching, the venue and the timing. Our first event — Soft Launch Night — will be held at The Mosaic. You'll be matched into a small table with conversation cards and icebreakers to keep things flowing. Tickets are $10 and include a drink.
vision
Our vision is to become a trusted student dating community that makes meeting people feel softer, safer and more real. We want to start with poly students first, build strong campus-based experiences, and eventually grow into ITE and university communities.
In the long run, Single Pringle hopes to become the go-to platform for students who want dating to feel less like swiping through strangers and more like meeting the right people in the right room.
the difference
Swiping turns people into thumbnails. One-on-one blind dates put way too much pressure on a single coffee. A carefully matched small group takes the pressure off, so you can actually be yourself and let connection happen at its own pace.
Fill the compatibility form and we'll handle the rest.
